Thank you for being here. I live to write about:
Problems facing humanity— Raw and unfiltered with pulp. Once I was a software QA (Quality Assurance) engineer and I learned that, eventually, we can make things better, even if it takes 200 people working on 4000 bug reports for most of a year. Earth 1.0 has a lot of bugs. Let’s fix ‘em.
Designs to fix the bugs — The legacy media are controlled by the makers of world problems and so they tend not to report on ideas for better system designs that might solve some of the problems their sponsors have created.
Plans for Implementing New Designs— Usually very “How” and not as much “when” or “who” as we’d typically like to see in the project management Gantt chart— that'll have to wait until resources are identified and committed— but, hopefully, just enough to inspire those who hold resources to get involved.
Hidden truths — Knowledge is power and it makes sense that Power seeks to hoard (and hide) knowledge. Specifically, Power doesn’t want us to know about their dirty tricks and economic hacks and exploits that allow them to to “break the game” year after year for fun and profit. Perhaps more interesting, however, is their imperative to keep us from finding out deeper aspects of our own power— laws that, if enforced, might allow us to turn the tables on them, as well as fascinating evidence-based hints that we, at core, are much more than mere walking biocomputers.
Dreams — More visionary in nature. Imaginations of what Earth 2.0 might be like. Not just a patched up version of Earth 1.0, but new features.
Prayers — Intentions and affirmations. Whether we believe in a divine being or not, we can always seek to connect with our higher selves and see how far that can go. We can open ourselves to thoughts and feelings that help us to know what is best for “All That Is” and to find courage to do our parts to manifest a healthier, more joyful and more peaceful world. I come from a family of ministers, rebelled by becoming a scientist, then found myself returning to poetry and spirituality. You can skip these if you’re not into it. I’d hate to lose a potential friend or ally because I came off as too “woo-woo”. Feel free to separate the grain from the chaff, as your own tastes guide you.
